There will be a solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024 from approximately 2pm to 4:30pm. This is a truly historic event as Southbridge is very close to the optimal path for a total eclipse!
Always use eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 standard. Sunglasses will NOT protect your eyes adequately when looking at the sun.
Be extra vigilant driving and crossing streets, as other drivers may be distracted by the eclipse.
All outdoor sports (practice and games) scheduled for Monday, April 8th are canceled per guidance from the MIAA.
