All 9th grade students and staff will read "The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora" by Pablo Cartaya, or "The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros. Students will receive a hard copy of the book during the second week of June and complete a book review; it will count for credit. We will discuss major events, themes, and lessons during the first few weeks of school. Students should keep their book to return it on the first day of school.
