Dual Language Program

The Southbridge Public Schools dual language program is designed to give students immersive classroom instruction in both English and Spanish, in order to help students acquire bilingual skills and multicultural understanding, preparing them for success in and outside of education.

The dual language program is a voluntary enrollment program beginning in Kindergarten, in which students in elementary and middle school grades receive regular classroom instruction in English and Spanish.

The program is expanding, and is expected to be introduced into Southbridge High School by the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
